Not only is the size important, but the orientation of the locker can also significantly impact its usability. For example, double-door lockers can accommodate gym bags or lunch coolers, which are difficult to fit in standard-width lockers.
Personally, I would rather choose a double-tier, double-door locker than a single-tier, standard-width locker.

Good Ventilation?
Does your changing room have air conditioning? Do your employees work in hot environments and sweat a lot? Do they need to store cleaning supplies in their lockers?
These are all good reasons to consider ventilated lockers. Vents help to dissipate odors from dirty clothes and keep the inside of the locker fresh.
Heavy Duty?
How thick of steel do you want? You get what you pay for. Thicker steel lockers are more durable and provide better protection for the contents.
If the lockers will be used frequently or store valuable items, choosing a more robust and durable model might be more appropriate.
